Sounds Amazing was our second show for the National Museum of Scotland. This time we investigate the science of sound whilst exploring a range of musical instruments.
Using a singing rod, Folk Harp, Clarinet, Trumpet, Gongs and Bells, as well as two specially built giant guitars, we look at how sounds are made, how they travel from their source to the ear and how they can be altered to produce a range of notes.
Our very own Steve Allman premiered the show during the October 2006 half term, with the Connect Gallery's own presenters taking over after being trained to 'play' the various instruments.
